How to Enjoy the Energy of the Holiday Season While Staying Vibrant and Stress-Free!

I can hardly believe that 2017 is almost here!   The holiday season is officially in full swing all over Mother Earth and it is such a treat to spend more time with family, cozy up with warm tea and a favorite blanket, and be in the spirit of the holidays and celebration. Allow me keep it real though… the holiday season also comes with less sunlight (those that personally know me, know that I’m not feeling that at all), stress, crazy busy weeks, and overwhelm for so many people… self included.  This time of year can trigger so many different emotions, which is why it is so important to stay peacefully centered and connected to your inner self.  I’d love to share with you my top 3 ways to enjoy the energy of the holiday season, while staying vibrant and stress-free.  I’d also like to take a moment to send some majorly abundant blessings your way as you complete 2016!  No matter your beliefs, faith, culture or what you celebrate, I honor you for the amazing human being that you are and wish you a peace-filled holiday season.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Less is more.  Connect with people whose energy you love being around.  If you’re stressing out about the perfect gift for your loved one, let it go.  Your presence is worth more than presents.  Remember, holiday gifting is not an obligation!  Give out of love and be creative if you feel led to gift.

STAY IN GRATITUDE

Wake up every morning, take a deep breath and give thanks for all of the things that soothe your soul and feed your heart everyday.  There is always something magical happening, even in the midst of chaos.

COMMIT TO SELF-CARE

Give yourself the gift of self-care and radical self-love.  Take time every day to do something that makes you feel good, centered and calm.  Slow down and be present. Eat nourishing foods that bring energy to your cells. Pamper yourself with a massage, some crystal therapy, or a candlelit bath. Drink warm tea and put on some cozy socks. Lastly, do something really amazing for yourself this holiday season!  Plan that trip that you’ve always dreamed of!  Take a class or workshop on something that you’ve always wanted to learn more about.  Don’t wait for the new year to begin your resolution for personal improvement.  Honor your mind, body, spirit and path.
