Earlier this year, in partnership with a dear friend and spiritual sister of mine who shares the same love for sacred travel, exploration, healing, nature, sisterhood and holistic teachings, I launched Holistic Goddess Retreats. Holistic Goddess Retreats is a sacred travel experience company that provides unique opportunities for women (and sometimes men) to vacation in a meaningful way, to some of the most sacred destinations on Earth. Our very first international retreat took place in one of my favorite places, Bali Indonesia, this past October. Along with 11 other women from all over the states, I embarked on a journey to one of the most high vibration, spiritually magnetic, lush, naturally and culturally beautiful places on earth, for 5 days of sacred sisterhood, rituals, exploration, meditation, relaxation and connection. Our days were filled with exploring and honoring the five elements, heart-opening kundalini yoga practice, insightful and healing talks, workshops and excursions. We wrote our greatest desires down on the most beautifully decorated scrolls during our life envisioning workshop, made a citrine and gold leaf infused abundance oil, had a salt bowl manifestation ceremony, created a nature mandala on the beach, and indulged in the most delicious and nourishing (yes, it was all organic, healthy and oh so yummy!) food prepared by our chefs.
We enjoyed relaxing Balinese massages, and I had the pleasure of providing my signature Crystal Therapy and Chakra Balancing Session for a number of the ladies. Not only was our time spent digging deep, but we also visited downtown Ubud (more times than I can count) for shopping, took a late night trip to the Laughing Buddha bar in Ubud Monkey Forest for midnight snacks, and got our feet nibbled on by tiny garra rufa at the fish foot spa. One of my most meaningful experiences was our trip to the Titra Empul water temple, where I felt more spiritually connected than I have in my (almost) 40 years on Earth! It was there where I also had the pleasure of participating in a sacred blessing ceremony with a Hindu high priest. It was such a gift!
I am so grateful for what we have created! The whole experience was a vision born, as I knew it was my mission to create this type of experience for women the very first time I visited Bali back in 2014. And to hear all of the amazing testimonials from the women who traveled with us was sweet confirmation that when you truly honor your path without resistance, you will find inner (true) joy, happiness, and ease in life. Yes, this is what I do for a living, but it hardly sounds like work, huh? So I say to you, my friend, HONOR YOUR PATH.
“Just as you respect the ground you step on, that ground will respect your feet. Always do what’s best to conserve and keep your path and it will do the same for you.”
I can’t wait for our Costa Rica, Bali, Peru and India adventures in 2017!
