If you’re anything like me, you have mixed feelings about your moontime (menstrual cycle) and the energies that accompany that powerful time of the month. One one hand, you connect with the ancient culture that honored a women’s monthly bleeding as a sacred time for deep introspection, rest and re-connection. On the other, headaches, emotional instability, irritability, sweet cravings and a bloated belly create a less than desirable physical environment for tuning into your inner wisdom and celebrating your wombanhood.
I love the energy of possibility, freshness, and the sense of starting over that a new year brings. This time of year often inspires a renewed sense of purpose and determination. I also like the idea of setting resolutions and goals for the new year, but if you were to ask me what my 2016 resolutions were, I’d tell you, “I honestly can’t remember!”. For many people, it’s things like “lose weight”, “enjoy life to the fullest”, “fall in love”, “spend more time with family and friends”, “save more money”, “travel more”, and so on. And although these are all beautiful goals, winter is actually a time for setting goals, not starting goals. Winter is a
“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”
Would you believe that one of the most antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, mood and energy boosting remedies can be attained by simply walking barefoot on the Earth? Believe it or not, the practice of “grounding” (or “earthing”) is said to have an amazing effect on our bodies health. For over a decade, research has emerged that suggests that direct physical connection with the abundant supply of the electrons on the surface of the Earth can promote positive physiological changes and benefits to our well being, such as improved sleep, reduced cortisol (stress hormone)
Did you know that you are capable of releasing harmful physical and emotional energy blocks yourself, by doing simple, effective clearing visualization in meditation exercises? Having regular sessions with a holistic coach or healer are definitely helpful and will create a huge positive shift in your energy, however, having techniques that you
“It’s not what we do once in awhile that shapes our lives. It’s what we do consistently.”
Taking time to nourish your spirit is just as important as anything else on your daily calendar. Not only is this something that I tell every single client I’ve ever worked with, it’s also a personal mantra that I live by, daily. Every single day, I am devoted to a practice of personal and spiritual development. Depending on my schedule and how the day flows, it could be a 10 minute guided meditation just before bedtime, an hour long nature walk, or a variety of other rituals that resonate with me. Whether it’s 10 minutes, or an hour, consistency is far more important than

“The mountains are calling and I must go.”
Do you believe that certain places around the globe are innately spiritual and have the power to heal? Or that we gravitate to the magnetism of certain travel destinations, for deeper spiritual or energetic awakenings? Believe it or not, these spiritually magnetic places, also known as Earth’s energy vortexes, are energetically charged areas around the globe, that have been known and mapped as sacred spaces for millennia. From Sedona, Arizona to Machu Picchu, Peru, many of these well known energy vortexes have been classified as the Earth’s chakra points, and have
“Like water or diamonds or crystals, it’s pure and reflects the light.”
Since ancient times, crystals have been prized for their beauty, energetic properties, healing benefits, and precise rate of vibration – so much so, that they are utilized extensively in everyday items, from clocks, to computers, to cell phones. Crystals are alive like everything else in the universe, and vibrate at different levels depending on their composition and color.
“Each person’s life is like a mandala – a vast, limitless circle. We stand in the center of our own circle, and everything we see, hear and think forms the mandala of our life.”
Mandalas, or “sacred circles”, have been in existence since the beginning of time. It’s geometric shape has no beginning or end, and according to the ancient science of sacred geometry, studying Mandalas has the potential of
“I create positive change by raising my vibe.”
Everything in nature vibrates at different frequencies. In fact, quantum physics describes the universe and everything in it as vibrating strings of energy. The frequency that you carry – your vibe – affects everything from your overall well-being, to what you attract in life.
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”
Science has proven that energy is EVERYTHING. It’s the building block of all matter, and is in constant movement and flow. There is a beautiful place where all things begin, that is a location of pure energy that simply “is”. But what happens when
